The Art Institute of Chicago is a fabulous place to spend the day. Collections of Impressionist, Post-Impressionist and American paintings are on exhibit. Monet, Van Gogh and Picasso are all on display for the art lover. The Field Museum holds a truly spectacular sight. Sue, the best preserved and most complete T-rex skeleton in the world, is 67 million years old, and measures 42 feet long. She is indeed an architectural wonder you have to see.
When hunger sets in, try some famous deep dish Chicago pizza. Or pop into Wrigley Field for a game and a couple of hot dogs. Navy Pier has restaurants for every craving, and an awesome ferris wheel you can take a spin on. There’s never a dull moment in the Windy City.
